Anyone know what time it is?

Bead and Button SHOW TIME!

I can't believe it has been almost a year since I saw you all in Milwaukee!  I started my blog with the usual complaints about making-the-beads, glazing-the-beads, etc.. but I decided to start over - Beads are a big pain when getting ready for this show but I wouldn't do it unless I loved doing it, so I tossed my original post for a new one, with a new attitude :)  I still have a lot of work to do to prepare for the show, but I wanted to take a few moments today to say "hello" and can't wait to see you!  If you are a regular LPA Thursday Night Shopper please don't forget to read the last paragraph!

I am excited to announce that lisa peters ART will be adding another booth this year!  I will still be in the same spot (1213) but have added 1215 as well.   My goodness, what will we do with all that extra room?  MORE BEADS of course!  (which is another reason I haven't seen daylight in a few months ;)  In addition to the extra beads there is a very special lady (besides Mom) that I am also very excited to announce will be with me,  Carol Dean Sharpe of Sand Fibers.

Carol Dean will have a selection of Sand Fibers Kits and patterns with her, including several brand new designs that were specifically created to work with the glazes I have chosen  for B & B and a few very-limited edition surprises.  Also available are sample packs as well as individual sheets of Nicole's Bead Backing, Ultrasuede and rumor has it, a Sand Fibers tutorial for working with LPA cabochons.

Using instructions by the very talented Grace Danel, we have put together kits with EVERYTHING (including toothpick for applying glue) you will need to create an adjustable ring with LPA mini flower cabs & beads.  A percentage of the proceeds from these LPA Mini Flower Ring Kits will be donated to charity and the specifics of these donations will be included in your kit.
Each Kit Contains 1 One of a Kind LPA Mini Flower
Grace Danel  (Grace Beading) is not only a wonderfully creative - she cares very deeply about those in need and making an effort to help where she can by donating the beautiful pieces she makes to charitable causes.   Thank you Grace for creating this beautiful ring pattern and for the beautiful pieces you have created for me over the years.  I am so happy we connected years ago and I am honored to call you a friend..   I cannot wait to show everyone the beautiful new Pendant/Brooch you created with my new 2D cabochons -it is totally awesome! And the adorable "porcelain dangles" you created with my marbleized porcelain shapes.. You rock!

Here are just a few samples of B & B 2012 Inventory :

2D Cabochons with specialty glazes

Flower beads, buttons and connectors in every shape & color

Butterfly Relic (cabochons) in Raku, Porcelain and Stoneware

Teardrop & Heart Shaped Cabs in all clays & colors

Triple Layered Cabs and Buttons

Flower Donut Beads

Domed Cabs from Mini to Large, in Raku,  Black & White Porcelain

HEX cabs will make an appearance

Rusty/Crusty because I know I have too ;)

Porcelain donuts - cause they are fun!

AND MANY, MANY, MANY MORE!   CHECK OUT MY FACEBOOK OR FLICKR FOR MORE PHOTOS

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Alicia Hartley, one of Sand Fibers Beta Beaders, who has spent the last six weeks beading up samples of the new patterns mentioned earlier.  Thank you so much Alicia for all of your help, I know that Carol Dean's participation in this would not have been possible without the priceless help you have given her.

I do not know if I will be blogging again before I leave for Milwaukee..  I know that Carol Dean will be blogging as well and we will both be discussing the new products and kits on our facebook pages so please keep in touch with us there.   It will be such a joy to spend this event with Carol Dean.. we never get to "see" each other and to be able to spend time in a creative and bead-filled environment is really awesome!  Now there will be someone at my booth who REALLY KNOWS cabs and will be able to assist you in choosing the right LPA cab or bead for your projects.  How cool is that!

For those of you coming to the show and shopping on Thursday night or Friday -  you know how busy things can get so please feel free to shop and leave your items with me to invoice and wrap for pick up on Thursday Night or Friday at some point so you don't have to stick around and wait.   If you would like to do this please drop your business card with cell phone number on top of your tray or basket  so that I can call you or text you when your order is ready for pick up.  Since you only have a few hours on preview night this worked out really well last year and I would like you to know the same option is available this year.

as usual I wish you happy creating,
and see ya in a few
xo
